mail art - envelope

The theme for this mail art is simply to send mail art on an envelope. I decided to go with a nod to my photo-lovin' ways (actually, I guess technically I'm referencing direct animation, also a big love for me). Side story: this envelope is from a big bag full of envelopes my mom got many years ago from someone she knew who had a job restocking greeting cards at stores. The envelopes were all from cards that got pulled from the shelves, so I have a whole bunch of big, brightly colored envelopes. I've had them for well over 10 years and I've send many letters in them to many people, but I still have quite a stash. Honestly, I'm a little tired of them at this point. Glad to be rid of one more...
